hello there i have a 05 S2k and my engine check is on i ran some diagnostics and code poped up P0607 Performance Control Module it ends up that i have a 04 ECU in my 05 S2k and does anyone knows anythin about this

There is no difference between the 04 and 05 model years, this should not be a problem.

But that's all I knows.

 

how do you know it's an 04 ECU? Anything from june and up is considered the next model year. If your car was made in 6-04, it's an 05. Same with your ECU. What month in 04 is the ECU from?

 

I talk to electrician and he cant do anythin about it. i bought an 05 computer and it has 4 connectors and my computer has 3 connectors.

 

how many connectors does your wire harness have? They may have used the same body of connectors for a different type of ECU....they did that on civics.

What date does it say on your ECU?

....is there a date on the ECU? How do you know it's an 04 ECU?

 

i dont see any dates on the ecu and I went to junk yard bought 05 ecu and 04 ecu the connectors are different
