this guy from honda today told me the mugen RR they made 500 and sold out hella quick. he said the local honda is getting one for the show room. they got a couple mugen si's for 35k otd oh and btw heard the mugen RR was 80k

Unless you live in Japan you aren't getting one. And since they sold out within 10 minutes you REALLY aren't getting one. I think they were equivalent to 40K US money.

 

I wonder tho.. if they actually sold the RR in U.S.A would they actually sell out just like they would in japan. Personaly i don't think they would.

Not ONLY are there millions of "i can afford it!" middle-aged "Civic Type-R Wannabe's" (who would probably risk bankruptcy just to have it)

but there is also the hardcore "HONDA" guys that HAVE money, that could sit back and just use it as a "SHOW-CAR" or Daily Driver!

-then you add in the salemen who have "Guys" that are waiting for these types of RARITIES-
"Hey Bob, we have 1 MUGEN RR coming in next week, only 300 mode! -if you haven't seen it, come down tonight! I'll show you the details and we'll set you up with one!"

No, what they have is 17 year olds drooling over a car that won't ever come stateside.

If you want proof just look at the fact there
- hasn't been another "R" since the ITR
- has been a Civic Type R here in the USA and most likely never will be
- no Accord Type R
- etc

 

isnt the JDM Mugen RR supercharged? or is that a different Mugen Civic-R? and yeah, that car will NEVER come here. if there's not even a Type R here, thats def not gonna be in Hondas line-up
