I daily drove on my ITR with no problems. I had them in my trailing arms. It is recommended to inspect them for dirt but the ride isn't much harsher than stock bushings.

They should be used for track cars, especially since they don't weather well (water/dirt/salt). Just wondering what makes them unsafe?

which bushings are you looking to replace? The TA is made by a few different companies like PWJDM, J's and Alex. There is a full suspension kit that you can buy through, i think, Bulletproof Automotive. Very JDM and very pricey. I have the orijin front LCA kit and it's fine.
For a daily driver I would not recommend it.
