08 Si- Car misfires in turns at low rpm???
Engine seems to "misfire" at 1500-2300 rpm 2nd or 3rd gear under 30mph. Anybody run into that problem? 2008 Civic Si K20z3 w/ 200 miles.
Never heard of that happening. Car that new should be brought back to the dealer stat.
Is it happening when the car is cold, any more details?

I have not noticed anything when the car is cold mainly warm. Its going back to the dealer tomorrow. I'm a tech myself and just the symptom is boggeling my mind.

There is your problem.

I just got a 08 Si and have no problems, but I also dont run around town at such a low RPM. 3rd gear at 30 mph is fine for me but not if I need to accelerate at all....Is this your first honda because they dont make any torque down low so you may just be experiencing that? Try getting it higher in the RPM band before upshifting. If it truly is a misfire situation, get it back to the dealer and make them fix it.
It sounds like maybe a vacuum line came loose or came off. Vacuum shouldis high at lower RPM (20 inches at idle). Have you checked to see if any vacuum lines are loose or cut?

Yea, this is actually what seems to be some sort of misfire, only when taking a slow 90 degree turn. And it always does it coming out of the turn right when you get back on the gas.

Is it just getting jerky in gear @ 1k-2k rpm or can you actually hear a misfire?

my mugen does the same thing but I shift at 3500 rpm and it blogs/backfires it seems to happen a lot in 3rd gear. I have about 2500 miles now. but from what I have seen it only happen on cold starts. warm up the car then see what happens...
I notice some hesitation from my 08 when its cold and it hasn't completely warmed up before i start driving it, but never a misfire situation..my 02 GTI 1.8t would misfire when i had a coil pack going bad..so that could be another key to your problem. Keep us posted on what you find out
i bet its just the hesitation from the drive by wire...you prob came from a cable throttle body car previously and now it feels totally different...the hesitation is normal, sucks but normal.
Well sorry, mine just blogs alot and has poping sounds where the motor has to much fuel in the 3500 rpm range. but it may just be what High_Rev stated
