I m installing a new axle on my civic 96 passenger side but i have problem puting the axle in the transmision it dont want to go all the way in PLEASE I NEED some help

 

what I did was I couldn't just push it in there so I turned around and put my feet against the wheel hub and used my legs as leverage to help me push it in and finally it popped right in, I didn't have to do that on the drivers side because it went right in.

 

thanks for that quick answer. the only thing that im not sure is the spline of the axle they should match when you push it by hand or you have to rotated

 

you have to line the splines up so they will mesh together so to speak then just force it straight in. My passenger side popped when it went in but the driver side I couldn't really feel it pop in but I kept pushing as hard as I could and it wouldn't go in anymore so I felt pretty sure that I had it in there.

 

Yep, using the hub kinda pound it in the rest of the way.
