I agree get the Vibrant Streetpower Exhaust. I installed just the axleback on a stock midpipe/stock header on a 2001 Prelude and I rocked it for 2 days before removing because it was to loud for me but damn did it ever sound awesome. Very deep sound.
as long as you run a cat, glass packs sound really nice.. without a cat, they are too raspy.. i had a Thrush (which i highly recommend over any Cherry Bomb Product) and it sounded awesome.. on a 2.5" glasspack, cherry bomb uses a 2.25 internal perforated pipe, and the thrush uses 2.5." The thrush is much deeper
got mine at Auto Value.. they're twice as much as cherry bombs, 40 vs 20, but worth it..
tabby cat.
i had a carsound universal 2.5" catalytic converter.. not bad for only 60 bucks

another thing to consider, the longer the glasspack, the quieter, deeper and mellower the sound will be.. and vise versa.. shorter makes for louder, raspier and higher pitched
i can't remember the exact length of the one i had, but it was ridiculously long.. also it was placed immediately after the catalytic, so i don't know what a glass pack will sound like at the stock muffler location..

The vibrant axle back sounds almost like stock (with silencer in) but when you hit the gas it growles nicely. I'm super happy with my vibrant setup. With silencer out it sounds like a 5 litre mustang. So the vibrant exhaust sort of caters to all walks of life (the deaf and those who still appreciate being able to hear)
The muffler looks nice, fits well, sounds great, and the cost wasn't toooooo hurting to the pocket book.
The silencer in mine didn't fit well though and made a sputtering sound (air escaping from between silencer outside and muffler inside. If yours does that use a high heat res silicon around your silencer ( just a light coating to seal) and than insert it in to muffler, than clean up left overs that might show in your muffler.
