D15B2 in 92 civic hatch back..conversion done need help with geting started..
i have a d15b2 i rebuilt, i used the d15b2 engine and cylinder head accompanied by the stock civic cx tranny intake manifold and injectors for the car it was going into. everything is in and done. the car cranks fine and is getting fuel, air, and spark but wont start.. i checked spark is a little weak. and it had sounded like it wanted to start but wouldn't. could i have my ignition timing off? any help is good.. need to get going..
bump for results.. i had crx motor laying around that we got freshened up for my buddy's daily driver civic cx since his stock motor threw the t belt and chipped a valve..
You might want to check and make sure the timing belt is still on the right tooth. Sometimes, they can be one off when it looked right initially. With a "weak" spark, the ignition coil could be the problem. Also, make sure your plug wires are on in the right order.
