My girl was driving our new 07 civic sedan lx and it stalled out on her on her way to work.
She had just started it up and was driving at about 17mph through our neighborhood. I wanted to know if anyone else has had this issue or something like it. It was about 35 degrees this morning.

It was almos tlike the fan wouldnt kick in. I have a 07 si.and i wasnt in gear either.

It's an auto. I asked her if she let it warm up at all and she said for about 3 min before she took off. anybody else had similar events lead to a stall out or ways to fix this issue.
I am not all that thrilled that the brand new car we got in September doesn't run as well as my 89 civic hatch in the winter.

I was once driving through a turn in 3rd gear and my car stalled out. Freaky stuff. I have no idea how it happened since I wasn't playing with the clutch or anything, just accelerating in gear.

All you Si and manual people should learn to read, this is an auto problem, stop posting 'i had a similar problem with my car but the clutch wasn't engaged!'
Hmm, maybe there is a problem with the idle not being high enough for extreme cold? What was the temp there? That's a real mind bugger.

Are you sure you were in 3rd, maybe up shifted to 5th and the RPM's were to low so it bogged and stalled?
I used to stall on hills when I first got the car but now I have no stalling probs.
