Okay im not quite understanding but i think i know what your asking. Answering the best i can.

You bought a B16A2(OBD2B) with a OBD2A ECU. All you have to do is use your existing harness and get a conversion harness from OBD2B->OBD2A, but that ecu your using is not good. Get you the ECU for your motor (P2T) and dont have to buy a conversion harness or get a chiped P28 and conversion harness from OBD2B->OBD1.

so you're saying you want to use the wiring harness that came with the b16 swap? if that is what you're saying it'd be a lot easier to just use your current harness because using that obd2a engine harness in an obd2b car will not work. i hope i understood what you were asking?

If your car is already VTEC then its prewired. Dont have to add anything.

You can also use an OBD2b -> OBD2a conversion harness to plug the ECU into your existing wiring.

i have a question that i really need help on...
i have a 1999 civic ex and i am planning to swap in a 2000 ls motor soon. my question is, would a 2000 ls ecu run in my car because i heard there was some kind of security key mobilizer that disables my car from starting with the 2000 ls ecu??? is that true?? do i have to use some sort of jumper harness?
please help me out guys!
