"Tranny "Bolt housing" stripped "?""

Default "Tranny "Bolt housing" stripped "?""

So one of my bolts connecting my tranny to the block, was tightened to tight, and inside the "bolt housing" is stripped, how can i fix it, whats the best way and about how many bills will it cost?

Run a helicoil. They sell kits at places like autozone and fastenal, and hardware stores. It's not hard to do, the kit has everything you need and tells you what size drill bit to use.

Best route to take would be that one. Just don't crank it down too much when its done....
