Ok i have been wanting to put a light coat of flat black paint on my taillights but im not really shure ware i should start.. Is this a good idea or a bad idea please give me some tips on how i should go about doing this. thanks

 

why not just get a plastic tint to put over your tail lights? they sell them on ebay.

 

Are you shure? because i couldnt find any for a 6th gen accord

 

You might be able to get away with a tinted semi gloss clear or satin maybe, but a light coat of flat black is going to effect the visibility of the tail light too much. It also will come out rough if you spray it too lightly. Tinted 2K clear is way to go if you want to tint your tail lights.

some people use model tint spray, there's japanese version of the tint coat in a 6 oz can.

or you can just sand down the lens, shoot it with CC with black mixed to it

 

dont paint it.i found out my cars rear lights were painted red and they are really dim i say go with that tint thing that you can put over the lights i think they sell it at autozone i think

 

well... i painted them anyway because i got excited.. lol but they look good and i got a poliece officer to examin it and he said it was safe because you can still see my brake lights and blinkers.
