Default Opps! I goofed... Elec/trans question.

I thought I disconnected all the clips/wires then when I dropped the tranny I realized a clip came undone

There are two wires, one is orange and the other is green. My question is which go where?
The clip looks reusable, I just don't know where to place the wires.

Take a look at the following pictures and see if you could help me out. Maybe look at the ones on your car for me??

Sorry about the cell phone pics, all I had at the time

If its the same as a D (should be) its not the reverse switch. Reverse switch on D's is 2 round male/female pin plugs versus an actual connector.

I think Rob knows what it is, and is just asking for the original placement of wires into the plug. And yes, that is the reverse switch, which simply turns on your reverse lights when you shift into it.

If I still had a B series in my car, I would of helped you out by now.

Looking at the plug from this angle, the green wire goes on the left.

I picked up this from eBay, unlocked Samsung D900i.

The AC adaptor has a European plug, so this is from the UKDM/EDM and not available in the US. It has a 3.0 megapixel camera, but the pics still do not come out as clear as Rob's pics.

this was the best picture I could find at short notice. but it just depends what settings you use and what the available light source is like:

More than likely the placement doesn't matter.

That's what I was going to say, if it's a a single pole, single throw switch, it doesn't matter.

I had that phone in black, for over a year. They are a good phone, but they are very delicate. Mine has broken over 3 times, I gave up on it.

you can thanks US's strict/crappy FCC regulations. they dont want us Americans growing a 3rd ear from the use of overseas phones

hence, our watered down versions.

Does not matter that the thread turned in to a cell phone discussion, thanks to all that pitched in and gave sound advice

As for the welding, I'm gonna hang on to it for a while and when I have time, place and money I'll rebuild it. For now I'll just toss in a new one.. can't have a iffy DD
