so i just spent 1200 bucks on a two stage paint job. well the whole deal is bad news. it took the body man also most 2 months to complete the job. The paint has many defects, also some parts of the paint look raised up under the clear. So i need to start again. The guy that painted my car skipped town, after the fact. Go figure.

Raised under your clear? So you mean he either ran the base or the sealer?

 

i will post pictures later today. it makes me sick to even think about my 1200 dollar turd now.

 

also i had my rocker panel welded in a month before hand, and looks like he did not prep the welds clean before he painted over them. It's a total slop jockey job. I'm depressed.

 

why does the shop NEED to use PPG?

 

i use to help out at a bodyshop when i was younger, it's all they used. but everyone is going to say what the like any how.

I only use PPG. I like how it sprays.
