What else do you have other then the HU? 94

A very good HU, I have the CDA-7892... http://www.fixya.com/support/p...-2092

It can be a PITA to set up without the manual. 94

Maybe you don't have the speakers wired correctly.

I would also check the amp settings, all settings should be set on the HU, you do not need to use the x-overs on the amps, just the input gain controls. 94

Did you read through the manual?

If it is not making any diff. you are doing something wrong or there is something with the HU, I just checked my unit to see how much adjustment I had to make to notice a diff. and it is very little. 94

PS, make sure "defeat mode" is not on.
