Default headlight question

i have an 08 fg2 and i want to get 2500k yellow bulbs for my hi beams and i was wondering how would i get to my driver side hi beam?? the passenger one is easy cuz nothing is obstructing it. i kno i gotta move the battery, but theres another reservior and it looks like it blocks the hi beam from the back.

hahaha i remember that problem. I got the reservoir thing off without removing the battery but I couldn't get it back on. I tried and tried until I realized I could just move the battery. Thats all you have to do though is move the battery and the reservoir.

the coolant tank slides up. you might spill some though. keep a towel handy. some people have trouble putting it back on. it takes me a few tries.

Yes...you can remove and replace the reservoir without moving the battery, but it makes it so much easier to do it. I've tried like 6 different pairs of bulbs in my Si, to see how they look. I have a '94 Accord and the bulbs are the same, so any bulbs I had laying around from that thing, got tried out, in the Si. I've only been able to do it, without moving the battery, once. But, now I don't even attempt it, without moving the battery. Much less frustrating, and it guarantees I don't smash the overflow reservoir into a million pieces in anger.

PS-the overflow reservoir is supposed to just "pull out", but mine wouldn't on the first try. I had to stick a flatblade down it's little clip and then pull up. It's popped right up every time since.
