Default Tranny or clutch problem?

I am new to transmissions and clutches as I have never dealt with them before. When I start the car and put it in first, it shakes really bad but when I let of the clutch and put some gas the shaking goes away. This too happens when it is in reverse, sometimes on the other gears as well, and when I am at high rpm's and I gun it. Also, my gears don't shift as smoothly as they always did.

This all happened after I went out racing but I wasn't sure which caused it. It might have been when I grinded third gear (worst grind I have ever done) or when I forced it in first when I was going somewhere between 25-30 (what was I thinking right?).

So what do you guys think is wrong?

i'm not quite sure but you may have a bad bearing on one of the ends of the counter shaft but thats just a guess seeing how you were thrashing on it pretty hard but when your sitting still nothing should be moving thats why i'm unsure and why no ones probably posted its kind of a stumper lol

Just to make things clear, the shaking only occurs when I step on the clutch and put it on first and reverse. Other than that it also shakes a little whenever I reach 5-6K rpms and I gun it.

Does that help?

So, the shaking starts when the you shift into gear, or when you start engaging the clutch??

Like, you start to pull away from a stop and as you let the clutch out the car shakes/vibrates until you are fully off the clutch petal?

Well, the shaking only occurs when I disengage the clutch and when I am in gear. When I engage the clutch the shaking goes away but when I race my car, it shakes a little when I'm about to redline.

could be your pilot bearing.

is it popping out of gear?

have you changed the clutch/flywheel without resurfacing it?

It rarely pops out of gear and no I haven't changed the clutch or flywheel since I got it. Well, I am going to buy a new clutch and see what happens.
