Has any one seen this "trunk" before

First off sorry would put the pic in here just dont know how new to forums...

I know dont to laugh, throw up, what? Only reason id see this is if some 16 year old wants to put a wing( not a spoiler i know) from pep boys... Any functionality in it? Wouldn't a hatch be more aerodynamic?

Why would anyone bastardize a CRX by installing the said trunk or the said spoiler?
