Default Spoiler

I just installed a 10" sub in my trunk and the only thing that is rattling is my comptech type-r spoiler the rattle is not bad at all. However, i would like to get rid of it. Has anyone solved this problem or have any ideas on how to get rid of the rattle?

I was thinking of taking that black panel under the hatch and applying dynamat there. Think that would reduce the vibration causing the spoiler to rattle?

and if that doesn't do what you need it to do, take off your wing and underneath the points that touch the trunk deck, just put something smushy down, like an old mouse pad or something. That'll help keep it from vibrating.

or did the spoiler come with a gasket. you can pick them up at your acura dealer, only a couple bucks for the set. Goes between the hatch and spoiler, about 1/8 thick.

yes the spoiler came with the rubber gasket. however, i realized that it is not the poiler itself but rather the led light in the spoiler that rattles. going to have to figure out how to go about fixing that

If you dont plan on constantly taking the light in and out. Go to an auto parts store and get a rubber gasket maker like permatex. Then remove the light and lay a beade around where it touches the spoiler
