Just wondering what's the most psi the oil reaches?

hmm. Interesting question.

Toda makes a gear to to be swapped on the oil pump to increase oil pressure. I was considering this during my rebuild, but upon discussing it with others we couldn't really decide what the benefit would be.

How much pressure is ok, and at what point does it start hurting functionality / performance?

Just a stock motor, what is the most psi the oil hits? on cold days, first start, would it go over 100psi?

 

If memory serves me right, the highest my PSI ever went was around 75 at WOT.

 

mine stays around 75psi wot and around 25 psi at idle (after warm-up)

mine peaks at 6kpa during cold start, i think thats around 85psi

 

I hit about 80psi at WOT and 25-30psi at idle. I have the smaller HAMP filter which increases OP by ~5psi.

mine is about the same, but peaks at 80ish
