Gsr valvetrain ideas...
I have a completely stock usdm b18c1 in my ej6 hatch. I'm going with an oem+ route. I can't decide if I should upgrade the stock head with ITR valvetrain parts. Or if it will be more cost effective, if I just swap in a complete ITR head instead. I also plan on going with an ITR tranny as well, either JDM or USDM. The car is a dd, not tracked or circuit raced. Any tips or opinions on my plan?
Well, how far are you looking to upgrade the head? Just ITR cams/springs/retainers? Are you planning on changing to ITR valves?
Regardless, it will be cheaper to just use ITR parts instead of buying a complete head.
As far as what tranny to use. JDM or USDM. Both are great.

I plan on going with ITR cams/springs/retainers/valves. What about cam gears? Should I stick with the stock gsr or go with the itr cam gears/sprockets?
