Default Battery keeps draining (Help!)

So here's the problem.
I leave my car garaged for the winter for about a month or so. One day I try to go start it and it wouldn't start. I replaced the battery and it would start just fine. It starts to snow again and I don't drive the car for about 2 weeks. My new Optima battery is dead. So, I get a battery tender and charged it fully and a couple days later the battery is completely empty again and the car won't start. I took the car to a nearby shop one day fearing that if i turn the car off I wouldn't be able to start again. They checked the voltage of everything and said everything seems to be checking in fine, but the alternator reads 1 volt lower than it normally should if I remember correctly. Other than that, the shop doesn't know what could be the actual problem that is draining the system.

Any thoughts on this anyone?

mine does the same thing, i just unhook the battery ever time i let it sit. its better to take your battery out if your going to let the car sit for a long period of time anyways, mine does it becasue the last person who owned the car messed with the bose and the amp under the seat is always on, i havent fixed the problem yet. has anyone messed with yours?

Check to see if you have a blown fuse under the dash if not have your alternator checked again by a different shop.

alternator is what charges the battery... check the alternator. They have a gadget that tests it, it takes seconds to check.

There's also a fuse under the dash that if it's blown for some reason the alternator wont help charge the battery. I've had this problem in my last car (not rsx) but i'm only assuming that there is still a fuse under the dash that does the same thing in the rsx. I've had the fuse blow on me twice and couldn't figure out why my battery kept dying on me. I thought it was my alternator but when i changed the alternator with two alternators that i knew was good it kinda blew my mind. Then a friend told me about that fuse and what do you know, it was blown. Changed it out and i was good. That's why i say check under the dash to see if there is a fuse blown. Not a lot of people know about that.

First make sure your terminals on top of the battery are clean and connected tightly. If you can wiggle or pull them off by hand that is not tight enough.

Second, check your ground cable that comes off the battery. Fallow where it goes and make sure it's not rusted or starting to frey.
