Say Im trying to turn my engine over outside of the car? I attached the positive of the battery terminal to the normal B terminal of the starter. I'm looking at the helms and it looks like you need to short the B terminal of the starter with the M terminal of the starter. When I do this the starter is spinning but never turning the engine over. What am I missing?

 

I figured it out, I needed to put 12 votes onto the S terminal and make sure that the M terminal was grounded.
