Default Is this normal? CTR Steering Wheel Issue!!

I just installed a ctr steering wheel on my em1. It seems as though there is a little bit of play in the wheel. Meaning that when I move the wheel it feels like it slips a little. Anyone have this problem and is it normal?

no and no, I tightened it down tight but did not torque it. Its not a lot of play but it just doesnt feel right. Plus there are teeth on the shaft that the wheel slides onto nad thats why i dont understand how it moves?

The spindles do interlock, but they're rather shallow and mainly just used as a guide point.
