well i got a 90 crx si that i picked up for 500 bucks. it needs some tlc which im about to give it. i have a z6 motor, and a complete nos wet system. i plan on installing the z6 with the nos. and while i beat on that i plan to do a mild build on the a6 block that came out of the car. nothing to crazy prob just pistons and rods to stand up to a 100 or a 150 shot. should be a pretty cool budget project being i already have the motor that i got for 100 bucks and the nos that i traded for. all in all ill spend about 1500 with new tires, misc. things and paint. but before i can do anything theres some rust that needs to be attended to. so heres some pics of where im at now as far as the body goes. ill update as i go.

all grinded down and cut out, the i put some rust converter on the bare metal and let it sit over night

i put 2 coats of por-15 on the bare metal that didnt get cut out.

yep its gonna be all diy. i plan on painting it with rustoleum and a gun. anyone have some some advise on using nitrous? have no experience with it.

 

man you have it SOOOOOOOoooooooooooo lucky...there's not that much rust on that thing! i had it bad with mine when they did the body work on it. (sighs) sucks. but goodluck man
