Default Skunk2 Pro Series-S, ways to soften ride? ...different springs?

I've had some Skunk2 Pro Series-S coilovers on my '99 Civic Ex for about a week, and I'm amazed at how ridiculously stiff they are. What's the source, is it a high damping rate or are the springs too stiff (450F/340R)? Has anyone experimented with using softer springs? Where can I find some that will fit? This is my daily driver, and the roads in MI are horrible, so I'd like to find a softer ride. The coilovers seem to be manufactured with good quality, so I'd like to keep them if possible, but that depends on if I can fix the ride quality situation. Someone give me some input, thanks!

You bought coilovers. They're not going to ride cushy.

Not only are the springs stiff and linear, but the shocks have to be up to the task of controlling them so the damping must be rather firm to not feel underdamped or "bouncy."

Give it some time; you'll get used to it.

Yeah, I hear ya... I'll probably get used to it over time. I had a stiffer setup on my last car, but these dampers are non-adjustable. If anyone has swapped springs, I'd like to know how successful they've been...
