The AVIC-D3 comes with everything you need to make it work.
all you need is the OEM inner panel for the DX or SI/EX w/Nav
For the amp, i dunno if non nav cars came with an external amp...
if it did, i dunno what the wattage is....
maybe you wire it so that the pre-amp outputs go to the amp... but id unno >.>

It says the gps ant is in the box...
You also need some brackets and screws...

no.. i don't think so... the radio harness should already be in there...
but you do need an OEM -> Aftermarket Wiring Kit
Always use a wiring kit/harness this is so you don't cut into oem wiring.
For the wiring kit for a 06+ Civic FG/FA i dunno what the p/n from metra is.. but you can find them at websites like partsexpress and crutchfield.com
Using an aftermarket deck will disable your steering-wheel mounted radio controls, if you want to use them, you need a converter... specific to your deck and car.
EDIT: also i think you need an ant adapter... because the oem ant isn't motorola fm style any more...
edit: you said you had an si right?? i think it is externally amplified... so you might need to bypass it with a bypass wiring kit, or see if you could hook up the preamps of the avic to the amp...

if you are going to have a shop do it....
then why are you going through all the trouble???
If i was having a shop do it, the most i would do is just buy the oem panel and brackets...
cause i want my panels to match...
A respectable shop has all the parts necessary to install the unit... or will get all the right parts to install the unit...
if you were doing it yourself... and have never done it...
imo, buy a unit from crutchfield, cause when you buy a unit from them, they normally include instructions and the wiring that you need with it.
also they provide lifetime support, if you purchased from them.
problem is, the avic-d3 isn't being sold by crutchfield any more.
those seem like the right ones... but like i've said b4 i'm not an expert...
