I just blew my third used distributor on my Type R, does any one know where i could get a good price on a brand new oem honda distributor for under $400. I will also consider a aftermarket one, but i need to know thats its reliable. I heard those ebay Distributor King ones are good, but i don't really trust any products that come from ebay. Any advice would be much appreciated.

 

Whats wrong with your current dizzy? Saying that you've gone through three you should have some spare parts. I bought a dizzy king that I had issues with. I took my old original ITR dizzy and fixed the broken sensor with parts from the dizzy king. No issues since then.

 

Well my motor is currently in a crx and i think the wiring is bad because we have gone threw 3 distributors in the last few months. Anyways I am pulling the motor out this weekend and its going back in my Type R, so i'm going to need a new distributor and i might as well but a new reliable one. I want to go with oem but i don't want to pay more than 400. Oh yeah and since it was in a crx the distributor thats on it is odb1.

Find out why you keep messing them up before you install another. I'm at 70K miles and still on the orginal one.
