They might not come in 205/45-16, but they do come in both 205/40-16 and 215/45-16.
I don't know what an ej8 is, but if thats a pre-01 Civic, then one of those sizes is correct for your car.

40 series is to thin, its a daily driver so i dont want to be slammed. i tuck my current 45 series just a bit and thats low enough.
can anyone post the difference bewteen a 205-45-16 and a 215-45-16?
does the tire just stick out more???
Getting my alarm done by WRX- Eater -Sti- killer on monday so id like to get my new shoes asap!

The NeoGen is an all-season tire. All-seasons sacrifice performance for the added flexibility of being able to handle snow and frigid cold. That trade-off might be okay for someone in Connecticut, but people in Southern California are better off with the higher performance of summer tires, since they don't need winter weather capabilities.

i just got 4 neo gens on my car today 205/45/16 and all i can say is i almost crashed my car in a straight line, the side walls are so flimsy and wobbly the car gets speed wobbles just like a skate board. they are very dangerous tires to be driving at any fast speeds with. they are coming off and i am sending them back and getting another set of azenis in 205/40/16 i never ever had my azenis make my car so scary to drive.

I had a set of Nitto NeoGen's... really nothing to rave about. I'm much more happy with my set of Kumho's for all-season type tires.
Why dont you just say screw the 205-45-16 and get a 205-50-16, thus getting a wider selection of tires...
Check out the Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec

How things change! This topic is a year old. Now, there are four good choices for supersticky tires for 16" wheels for Integras and '97-00 Civics (and the Azenis is the fourth stickiest):
1. Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 205/45-16
2. Kumho Ecsta XS 215/45-16
3. Toyo R1R 205/45-16
4. Falken Azenis 215/45-16
I wouldn't. There are lots more supersticky tires in 205/45-16 and 215/45-16 than in 205/50-16. Plus, 205/50-16 is too big for Integras and '97-00 Civics and likely to rub (although it's a good size for many Preludes and certain Accords).
The Dunlop Star Spec is indeed a very good tire, but there's no need to get an oversized tire when there are plenty of good choices in the best sizes.
The Parada Spec 2 is crap. The only people who buy those old tires are folks who haven't tried anything better - and there are many, many better tires on the market, some for the same price as the crappy Parada.
