turbo car, drag radials on front, what tire is best for rear?
car is my second car, dont usually drive it in the rain if i dont have to, what is a good rear tire, 15 inch wheels, i'm getting another set of bfg's for the front (225) what size and brand tire should i get for the rear?
If you plan to drive this car on the street with drag radials on the front, then get drag radials for the rear, too.
If you only put the drag radials on when you go to the dragstrip, then get whatever rear tires match the front tires that are on the car the rest of the time.

Because they will screw up your handling.
Let's say you have sticky drag radials in front, and plain old street tires in the rear. On dry pavement, this will cause a handling condition called "oversteer"; when you go around a curve fast, the rear end will want to swing around on you, causing the car to spin. Hit a wet patch, and the fronts won't grip as well, causing a handling condition called "understeer", in which the car will try to go straight ahead when you turn the wheel.
Mismatched tires are fine for the dragstrip. But not for everyday driving.
