I picked up a B18c5 last night. A rod went through the block in cylinder 1. I don't see why it all wouldnt be ITR but just wanted to check. It came from a 2001 ITR. The cams are in fact 01 ITR and it has dual valve springs and im pretty sure the head is ITR but just want to check.

in front of the head were exhaust manifold is it should say p73 and the year of the head

 

WRONG info they all say pr3-2 or pr3-3 or something to that nature

 

dont itr heads use exhaust flange BOLTS, where b16's use exhaust flange STUDS

 

look for some green paint by the distributor...

however, over time that may have worn off...

 

check the Head for the LMAs. They are different between B18 and B16.

ITR also have Headstuds

The ITR Headf have also Aluminium milled Bridges between the Camshaft bearings.
The B16 head has Aluminium casted bridges.

the Heads for themselfes are completely the same, exept for the stampted Number.

If you put your Head down, look in the intake port if its smoothly milled. ITR heads have this sort of Porting ex factory
