How Do I remove this?!?! (Already removed 2 screws above cluster)

 

carefully pry and remove the hazard light switch and u will see a screw and remove it and 2 screw to remove from upper cluster bazel area

 

still not commin out and i cant get the effin clock to come out either..

i remember the clock stays when i pulled the bazel off. i didnt even need to remove the clock.

 

well it still feels like its connected to something do i have to pull it from a certain angle? it kind of feels like its stuck from the vents or something..

 

m...check if there is a screw at the center vent area, i didnt remember about this one cause it was 2 years ago when i pulled the bazel..and it should pull right off..

 

remove the switch under the clock and there is a screw there.

 

i didn't have to remeove my hazard switch.

i just removed the 2 screws above the cluster, then took a flathead and carefully pryed at the end where the two heater vents are first and moved to the left.

there are fins or something that hold the trim to the dash.

just be careful

 

dont break it.. it will come out clean take your time

 

its always hard to get it out the first time.

the vents are really snug, its easiest to use a screw driver and slowly pry it out.

if its going to break, it will break on the far left side near the vent.

 

I am pretty sure these are impossible to remove without screwing up one of those metal tension tab things... But even broken it still reinstalls fine.

also false there is a screw under the hazzard switch

i just removed mine last week, once you get those 3 screws out be very careful to pry it off and not break it...i started from the right side and worked to the left. the bottom of the cluster cutout has clips that slide into the dash so be careful not to break those. just take ur time itll come out easy.

there is a write up that bauley civic did about changing ur cluster and climate control bulbs and it tells you how to remove that...give me a sec ill look for it

try picking it up a little from the bottom. Beware...becuz it has clips!

im sure your right, but the guy who owned my car before me must have just not put the screw back into place.

I just put grill mesh between my clusterfck and my dash trim!!!

Uhh, he is correct. He said the screw is behind the [hazard] switch under (below) the clock.
