becasue i wanted to.....

How come you're replacing your knuckles and hubs?

 

my cars an 02 and the knuckels and lca's were all rusted, and i dont wanna put new parts on a nasty looking suspension when i got the car the owner before me has bought new knuckles and bearings for the front for some reasion, nothing was wrong with the old ones. so i decided to take all the oem parts i have to keep off and repaint everything

 

for anyone thats planing to buy aftermarket rear control arms this is the specal socket (made by spc) you need to take the 6 ten point bolts off on the rear lca





it took me a long time to track this thing down, so to make everyone elses life easyer here is the link to spc web site http://www.specprod.com and phone number 1 800 525 6505, and the part number is 69330

I know a guy that uselessly buys new suspension parts (knuckles, LCAs, etc) for his car and still drives it in the winter... :S

just received the progress rear sway, im kinda dissapointed in the quality of manufacturing but i hope it functions good, thats all that matters right?

and some pics of what i did today, i should have taken b4 pics so i could have been more impressed with all the work i did.

 

btw, anyone who is useing fullcoilovers, i noticed that the aftermarkets dont swivel like the oem ones. do i leave the bottom of the coilover where the tierod bolts to untighten so that swivels, or will the whole assembly swivel? if this makes any sence lol
