HELP! halfshaft.
well i just changed my trans last night becasue the other one blew, but anyway its leaking trans oil from where the half shaft connects. could it be the seals?? please help me ASAP! thanks.
It is possible that it could be one of the seals, especially it the transmission came from a salvage yard. The last one I bought from a salvage yard, had one seal that leaked after I installed it. I went to the Honda dealer and got another seal and it leaked too. I went to another Honda dealer and bought another one and it worked for the remainder of the 65,000 miles I had the car.

take the shaft out, if you ripped that [freak]er you will see it ..
Ive done this a few times cuz for some reasom some seal leak no matter what the hell you put in.
On the new seal take the spring out, with it out you try and find the part where the spring ends that connect and make it a circle.
i would cut the part that the female end and this makes the circle tight squeezing the seal more and makeing it seal better..
