Default Taking Apart a 2-pc wheel - removing wheel center???

I just picked up some SSR Schumachers, and the wheel centers are kinda beat up. I'd like to take them apart and repaint them, but don't want to F anything up. Has anyone ever done this? How do you assemble the wheels again, is there a torque sequence or anything like that? I'd like to know before I do this and then put my life in danger. Let me know, thanks!

EDIT - are they wheel halves? I guess I didn't look close enough. EIther way, what's the proper way to do this?
