Got bored today... so I cleaned the motor and repainted my home made intake.
What do you think.

 

What did you use to clean it? My engine bay is in need of a clean up...

it turned out great i love to wash the engine bay,but where i live as soon as i drive around for a while it gets dirty again,but the car looks good

definatly use this product called: steam....it works wonders . let it sit after you spray entire bay for about 15 mins or so and then use a pressure washer to rinse the crap away. heres proof:

Thanks for the replys...I painted it last year its a jeep color. All I ever use is simple green and some wax on the strut towers.

Something else you can do is mist Armor All over the entire engine bay and let it sit for awhile, then wipe it off some areas if you need to.

Also you might want to figure out a way to run a tube between your intake and valve cover, the engine will run better if you do.
