setting timing
Are the wires which you connect to set the timing on a late model sohc accord down where the ecu is? Same as say a civic?
Pal of mine just turboed one and was wondering where the wires were too so he could set the timing.

you usually either adjust the timing with a timing gun, or that one apex'i (or is it hks?) electronic timing controller(ETC). you hook the timing gun up to one of the spark plug wires. if your friend has an OBD2 car then he cant adjust the timing with out the ETC.
to set the timing with a gun clamp one end to the first cylinders spark plug wire and ground the other one
there is a mark on your crankshaft pulley that will line up with an indicator protruding from the side of the block each time the light flashes, this is if the car is timed at 0 degrees TDC
it has been a while from the last time I have done it ( we usually run 100 octane fuel in the race car and crank the timing all the way up)
