alright i have been havin problems since i got this car with the p/s...when i got the car it had a pump with no belt on it..i slapped a belt on..ran for bout 2days then the pump went to whinning..so i went to a junkyard bought a pump threw it on..acouple hours later it starts whinning..SO i go buy a BRAND NEW one not even 10mins later it goes to whinning...i searched on here for these problems but found nothing...and i have heard of ppl using the "cheap" way of getting rid of this problem..or is there somethin i might be doin wrong?? maybe i need to bleed it or maybe theres somethin im missin..any help would be appriciated

 

Is the PS pump or the gearbox whining? Does the PS ever function before or after the whining noise? Your new pump must be fine, so my guess is that the problem is with the PS gearbox, or with a bad or clogged control or cut-off valve.

 

all i know is the p/s is whinning...and yes it functions even with the whinning noise...does the cooler have fins like a radiator?? or is it just the line that loops in front of the radiator??

 

isnt there a way to take it off completely without changin out the racks?
