So a guy local is selling HX rims with Falken tires (not sure which) for $280 all 4. He says they're in good condition (gonna check), is it a fair price? I saw some HX's with tires with 85% of thread for $200 so I'm thinking of maybe offering a bit less ($230?) and seeing where it goes.
Thanks guys.
Thanks guys.
280 is too much IMO
I picked my set of HX's up for 200 and the tires had like 90% thread.
I dont think you should be paying more than 230 for them.
Try to get them for 200, if not find someone else with some.

lol yah look at the tread obviously but i mean people saying 90% and 85% i thought maybe there's a way to measure exactly how much is left. so which falkens are good and which are bad that I should look out for?

Try sticking a penny upsidedown into it. If the tread is higher than Lincoln's head, you're good. lol I dont [freak]ing know. use your own judgement.
Azenis are the most expensive. Good for road racing, terrible for drag
Ziexs are the more affordable all-season tires. Ok for both.
Others are basically generic w/e's
