Default metal on metal sound

ok, when I turn left at slower speeds there is a metal on metal sound coming from my right front. CV joints? I did get new wider wheels and my car is dropped, so could it be rubbing? but it doesn't do it turning right.....

If its a clicking sound then its worn CV joints. if its an irregular metal on metal sound it could be spring coils rubbing together, usually at the top where the coils are wound tighter together.

How many miles on your car?

Sounds like time for new pads.

I'd make sure the dust sheild isn't rubbing the rotor if the pads are ok.

Both things are very simple and take less time to check than posting on honda-tech.

wear indicators drag when a pad is at a certain depth, when the wheel is turning, not just braking

when my front brake pads wore out, they squealed when I was rolling, and stopped when I applied the brakes...

just take a look at the pads, it takes 2 seconds and you can see from there. when my back right brake pad got worn down, it would only squeel while i was making a right turn, and when i applied the brakes, it would go away.

also, there is a clicking sound that is known to come from the brakes after sitting overnight or something but it goes away after a little driving, so that probably isn't it...

Either brakes or an axle. Both are easy to check out.

your rear pads are used when you apply the brake/press the brake pedal also.. not just when you use the E-brake..

anyway I had a metal on metal sound when my brake pads (front) where worn and I was down to the wear indicators.. gawd that was an awful sound I hated that sound lolz... but I guess it worked for its intended purpose.. it annoyed me and alerted me that my brake pads were worn/down to wear indicators/in need of replacement.. check your pads to see if theres still brake material/lining... other than that I havent encountered any other metal on metal sounds..
