Default d16y7 engine with a d16y8 intake

I am rebuiding a d16y7 with a d16y8 intake and headers... but! Keeping the same
wire harness for the d16y7.

Should i change the fuel rail on the d16y8 intake and swap the d16y7 fuel rail on it?

the y7 and y8 fuel rails are the same. personally, i reused my y7 fuel rail since i knew it was working fine. however, you wanna make sure you reuse your y7 injectors.

This is a direct swap if you use any 96-00 civic EX automatic manifold, because it uses the same 3-wire IACv system that the d16y7 uses. Only 1996-2000 civic EX and SI 5spd's use the 2-wire IACv.
