Default D16Y8 Intake Manifold Swap on D15B7?

I was wondering if the sensor located in the middle of the Y8 fuel rail is needed? Can I just leave it unplugged since my B7 motor does not have that? Thanks for the help!

it is the evap purge valve and you can leave it off. no use for it on obd1
