Default low offset koseis on a g3 integra

i recently aquired a cheap mint set of kosei k1s they are 15x7 with a 27 offset
they are being wraped in 205/50/15 falken rt-615

they will be going on a 01 integra.

could i run into any issues with clearance running that low of an offset on wheels for autocross duties?
if so how can it be fixed?

the suspension im running is gc coilovers on koni's, with 380f and 450r spring rates

yes. they will rub in the rear no mater what youdo. those are most likely for a bmw with that offset. i would sell them and buy something in the +38 to +40 range.

thats my concern...

only reason why im asking here is there are plenty of guys running 8in wide wheels wil 35-40 offset which would stick out just about the same.

i did the math and on paper it looks like if you can fit a 15x8 +38, the 15x7 +30s should fit. so i stand corrected.
15x8 +36 =15x7 +23

see thats what i tought.
i know a low offset 15x7 is not a common choice but i figure the fitment issues would be similar to the guys runing 15x8s

so i just wanted to see what they were doing to make it work.

cause i dont want to take a loss plus autocross is this sunday!

I have rub issues with my 15x7, +33m. I would expect to have problems with rubbing.

update:

tires were rubbing in the rear right away! did the baseball bat fender roller trick. and it seemed to stop that. but havent had a chance to REALLY throw the car around.

it seems to rub somewhere up front passenger side on hard left turns not sure if its the tires or something with my break shield. cause it sould metallic.

i ended up rasing the height up a bit to be on the safe side. might go even higher for autocross tomorow.

still running no camber adjustments.

dialing in a little neg camber will keep it from rubbing on the fender, and should give you more than enough clearance in the rear.

the front could be rubbing somewhere on the inside too, so be sure to check both sides for signs of tire contact/rubbing.

a metalic would probably be a dust shield since theres no way that wheel is rubbing on the inside.
glad they worked out for the most part

tomorow is autocross so i raised the the car to higher stance. took it for a spirited drive and had no rubbing issues. so it should work out great tomorow.
hopefully will be getting some camber kit and dial the stance in.

thanks for the advice

I'm looking to order 15X7.5 +20 front and +5 rear for a 99 Integra. Just wondering if I would have any fitment issues except rubbing. I'm running spoon calipers with ITR rotors. Thanks in advance.

My track wheels are 15x7 +35 (Weds TC-005), and have zero rubbing issues at all on my DC2. +30 is nearing the limit of even rolled fenders.... D C 2 buying a +20 or +5 is not going to work out too well.

i use to have my front maxed and for some odd reason the front passenger side dust shield rubs and cuts at my rotor...

raising it fixed most of the rotor rubbing, still does occasionally cuz i dont want to be too high
i also bent it backwards away from the rotor and cut some pieces off w/ some strong cutters

is this thing necessary? should i just take off the whole thing or cut more parts of it off/ bending it?

WTF?

1. How is this related to the original topic that was created 1 1/2 years ago?

2. Get rid of them, they do nothing.
