GSR dash bulb out
I'm purchasing a used 95 GSR, I was told the dash bulb for the tach is out. The previous owner claims that Acura charges about $200 to repair. How difficult is this to repair and has anyone done it? Thanks for any help.
Requires removal of a about 5-6 screws. Then you unplug the back of the harness from the cluster, fine the bulb which is burnt out. Then replace. The bulbs from the dealer should cost no more than $5/piece
SAE 168 or 194 are the replacements.
Be careful taking hte condom off. I tore one in half when I replaced mine.
And, to loosen the gauge cluster shroud after removing the two screws.....put the strg wheel all the way down, put your hands palm up, and pull with your finger tips at the bottom of the shroud just above the strg wheel column.
I used Polarg M-4's with the stock blue condoms.

They come already on top of the stock bulbs.
They might have stopped using them somewhere down the line b/c my friend's '01 ITR didn't have them.
