i got a problem.. i believe my valves are ticking and they just recently got louder than usual.. so i wanna get it fixed asap. I herd about a tool thats available at auto part stores.. I need the specifications for a sohc motor for a 96-98 cx.. im wondering what does this tool look like and i need to know how much would this whole job run me. I know i have to replace the valve cover gasket.. any help??

 

u need a valve lash adjustment, and it is pretty easy on d series engine. all u need is a feeler gauge from auto parts store ,it costs like 3 bucks and u need some basic tools,.
intake0.007-0.009 in
exhuast 0.009-0.011 in
