Default JDM EJ1 cluster problems- Seatbelt man

ok.. just bought a new cluster today.. never seen one like it before.. TCS, 2 door and a trunk open light--from a JDM coupe!!!!! it was the only manual they had, so i was getting it anyways lol... anyways.. so i put it in, and the seatbelt man light comes on.. car is off.. key is OUT!! wtf right?? so i figure it's because my seat is unplugged (damn dealerships) so i don't think too much of it.. get home, take out my seat, plug it in.. still on!!!

ignition off-light on
auxilary-light on
car on/running-light off
trunk open, ignition off-LIGHT OFF!!! but the trunk open light doesn't come on....

anyone else ever had this problem? i'd like it to be functional (don't start on the "well you can't read KM's!!!) as much as possible, so if i can get the door and trunk open lights to work, and the seatbelt light to work properly, i'd like to.. i know TCS will never work, but it's a stock D for now.. i'm not to worried about losing traction lol..

thanks in advance guys.. later
and the door and trunk open lights don't work.. but i'll figure those out later..

QUESTION FOR YOU BLUEINTEGRABOY..

OK.. sorry about the caps.. ok.. i wired the drivers door button, the one in the door jamb, to the green/red wire, pin number 2... it worked fine.. then i hooked the passenger door to the green blue wire.. it works fine, but now that i have to passenger door hooked up, the drivers door now turns on both lights.. any help?

thanks in advance..

Yeah, I had the same problem. I just left it. It wasn't a big deal.

ugh.. it bothers me.. i don't know why though. .i never open my door when the car is on, and if i do open it, i KNOW it's open.. the whole "open door indicator light" thing is honestly beyond me.. but i'm **** and it has to work right lol..

Try another green wire.

i'm actually going to try the white/blue wire.. when i was testing all of them with a jumper from the dome light to the plug, the only three that did anything was the green/red, and the green blue that i used, and the white/blue, but the white blue one lit both, so i didn't use it.. guess i should have.. we'll find out what happens this weekend..
