Default Supercharger 1.6L

I just put a new stock motor in my 1999 honda civic. I want more power so iam not going to get a b16 or b18 because I have a new motor. So iam thinking of supercharging it. How much more power would it have over stock. Would it be worth it at all.

somone us going to step in and argue that you could go turbo for close to the same price. Thats going to be me this time. The power gains for turbo are going to be larger over the S/C, and much more upgradeable. If your looking for a practical application, either one is practical with a good tune. And the thing is, theres a lot of turbo d series running around now making some pretty freaking good power. I would say go turbo. just buy good stuff, tune it really well, and your going to have more power than you know what to do with and still be pretty reliable.
