Well me and a few members came into work today to find that
overnight someone had stole the wheels off a newer vett, a 2007 if i remember correctly
Left it on blocks of wood...

So of course after almost being arrested for taking pics, I took more.
I just couldnt believe someone actually did this...

btw, the detectives came and took the blocks of wood as Evidence and replaced them with large jack stands....









now is it not legal to take pics of a "Crime scene" as he told me?

I saw about ten trucks in my old apartments sitting like this.....

The cops won't find who did it anyways. Those wheels are on someone's V6 Camaro now.

yea i kinda figure that its a dealership's car but it still suprise me how they just leave there car like that over night.

Almost arrested for taking pictures

 

not uncommon at all, when i worked at chrysler someone stole the wheels off of 4 srt8 chrysler 300's on the lot and left them on jackstands.

also would steal the spare wheels off of the back of jeep rubicons :thumbdown

and finally smashed the windows and took like 8 navigations out of jeep commanders

Wow. I didn't know Corvette wheels were hot commodites.

 

a dealership around where I live had a GTO stolen off the lot on a flatbed and they found it a week later smashed into a wall

the 3rd wealthiest county income in america... all the big stars live here, Garth brooks and the rest of the singers from pop/country etc...

 

well wtf do you think is going to happen? the Vette is just kinda sitting out there not even in the lot. Lucky they only took the wheels.

answer the OP- I wouldnt think its illegal, just say your taking a picture of the dealership and you happened to get the vette in the picture. lol.

They cant arrest me, Nor take my gear.
