So when I drive its very un smooth and the tach jumps around a bit really annoying sometimes felel like i am gonna stall on take off

sounds like your ignition coil is going bad, i would go ahead and buy one before it leaves you stranded

 

I jsut got a whole brand new distributor....

 

and what happened?

 

I had to buy a new one because the old one wouldnt start the car and I broke some parts taking it apart to replace parts

so i got this brand new one
it started her right up but it is doing this annoying thing !! and i dont want to go have to spend another 90 dollars on a new coil

 

Either its the dizzy, but uve said u replaced it...your timing, the fuel filter (VERY LIKELY) the fuel pump (ALSO LIKELY) or if its swapped its running rich (not so likely if ur stock at all). So, i'd start by checking your timing, then the fuel filter replacement and then the fuel pump. Im sure somethin will do the trick. Let us know.

 

My friend bought a new distributor the other day. It started to do this and I told him to go get a new one. He didnt listen and it stranded him in the middle of no where and had to be towed at the expense of $150 since the parts stores around him were closed

 

PROBLEM SOLVED:


So I went to go and take a look at what is going on the distributor and first thing I notice is that my Side skirt is gone.... Weird someone must have stolen it I think.

So I go to pop the hood and i see my distributor is not even attached properly there is only one bolt left on and the contact is not very good ... so [freak]ing thieves tried to steal it but didnt have enough time. So i tied it up with some string and of course the bogging went away

so i drive to the stealership 8 bux for the bolts FTL

LOL quick fixxxx gotta order them bolts though scared the strings gonna get too hot and catch fire
