Default what ecu to use? gsr motor

well last nights some muthatf*ckers jacked me. it was a pr3 ecu that came with the motor.my motor is a jdm gsr motor obd-1,skunk2 pro manifold jdm itr throttle body. i was told i couldnt use the stock p72 cuz of my single runner manifold. help me out here what ecu should i get? stock p28 will work right? thx

a p28 is an obd1 ex/si single cam ecu. I don't see why you can't run a stock p72. Your motor is pretty much stock. Even without you secondaries, a p72 will work better than most other ecu's. If you get a p28 you'll have to chip it and tune it for your motor. It's probably more cost effective if you just run a stock p72 untill you do something major. Either ecu is chippable.
