Hey guys the only other experience I've had with turboed cars we also used the walbro fuel pump. On this other application (cough**neons***cough) we used the walbro and a RRFPR ( rising rate fuel pressure regulator) so that they could get enough fuel. From the regulator we ran a return line so that the extra fuel could be bled off at the regulator and returned to the tank. This way the walbro pumped a constant amount of fuel. Since then the other application has started moving over to megasquirt.
So my question is if I install a Walbro 255lph fuel pump on a stock civic is it going to hurt the pump because it won't need to pump anywhere near it's potential?? How does this work?
EDIT: "flame protection ON"

What would be the point in putting in a stock civic?
It shouldn't hurt the pump at all, but I don't know if there is a way to regulate how much fuel is being pushed from the pump..

Actually my fuel pump seems to be getting weaker and if all goes as planned I'll be fully boosted and tuned in 2.5 to 3 months. I was just thinking about it and wondering if it would hurt the pump. I don't think it would hurt the car because my stock fuel pressure regulator should bring it down . Even if it didn't bring it down to stock pressure level I think my ECU will see it's running rich and squirt less fuel.
